Lion King Ticket Deadline
As previously mentioned, the Senior Musical is a special swansong for our Year 6 children, marking the culmination of their 8 years at school. To reflect this, Year 6 families may book up to four tickets total — with a maximum of two tickets per performance.
Year 5 families are allocated two tickets, which can be used either for one performance or split between both performances.
The ticket booking deadline is Tuesday 1st July at 2:00pm. This allows us time to review capacity and offer out any remaining tickets. It also helps us provide accurate numbers to the catering team for interval canapés and refreshments.

Sports Day

Broomfield House Sports Day Sees Records Tumble Under Glorious Skies!
Broomfield House was buzzing with energy and excitement at the Broomfield House Sports day on Wednesday, June 25th , 2025, as children showcased their athletic prowess under a brilliant sun. With temperatures comfortably sitting between 20 and 25 degrees Celsius, it was a perfect day for competition, and the young athletes certainly delivered, with several outstanding performances and even a few new records!
The throwing events and high jump saw incredible efforts from all competitors. Every participant gave their all, demonstrating fantastic technique and determination. A particular highlight was Phoebe (Year 6), who soared through the air in the high jump to equal the girls’ record with an impressive height of 1.18m! Her dedication and skill were clear for all to see.
On the track, the excitement was palpable as pupils pushed their limits in a series of thrilling races. Every runner put in an amazing effort, cheered on by their housemates, teachers and parents. The crowd erupted when Lenny (Year 6) powered through the 400m race, just beating the previous record with an incredible time of 1 minute and 12 seconds flat (1:12.00)! What a phenomenal achievement!
Another standout performance came from Charlotte H (Year 6) in the 60m sprint. She blazed down the track, setting a new benchmark for all future girls to chase, finishing with an astonishing time of 9.15 seconds – faster than any other girl before her!
Rose House emerged triumphant, securing the coveted shield! The day was a resounding success, marked by outstanding sportsmanship, impressive individual achievements, and a true celebration of athletic talent. Well done to everyone who participated and made it such a memorable event! A special ‘thank you’ goes to Mr Pache for organising another wonderful Broomfield Sports Day.
All photo galleries – covering Sports Day, performances, and other recent highlights – will be shared with parents in the end‑of‑term newsletter on Friday 11th June.

Kew Fete Year 4 Elderflower

A huge well done goes to the amazing Year 4 children for their hard work running the Elderflower drink stall at the Kew Fete on Saturday 21st! Despite the hot weather, spirits were high and the refreshing elderflower drinks were a big hit with visitors. The stall was beautifully presented and well-organised, drawing lots of attention throughout the day. Thanks to everyone’s fantastic efforts, we raised over £400, a brilliant achievement! Your teamwork, energy and enthusiasm truly made a difference. Well done to all involved in making the day such a success – we’re incredibly proud of you!

Special thank you to Mrs. Zammit, Mrs. Eastings, Mr. Bourne and Miss Bendall.

Art this Week

Kindergarten explored tigers and crocodiles through art. They painted tiger pictures using black and coloured ink, carefully thinking about the shape of the animal and using black lines to decorate their stripes while practising their brush control. For their colourful crocodile collages, the children got creative with stamps and felt-tip pens, adding lots of exciting details to bring their reptiles to life.

Junior Sports Day

Junior Sports Day was held at school on Friday 20th June, and it was a fantastic morning filled with fun, energy and excitement. Our youngest athletes from Pre-Kindergarten, Kindergarten and Year 1 competed in a range of events, showing great enthusiasm and team spirit. One of the highlights was the classic egg and spoon race, which brought lots of laughter and cheers from the crowd as the children balanced their way to the finish line. Another favourite moment was the much-anticipated parents’ race. The support from families was wonderful, and the children clearly enjoyed seeing their parents join in the fun. Thank you to all the staff who helped organise such a joyful day and to the parents for their enthusiasm and encouragement. It was a lovely celebration of sportsmanship, community and early childhood confidence-building. Special thanks to Mr. Pache.
