We have our annual photograph day on Monday 15th September, all children will have individual pictures taken (as well as any siblings pictures).
All children must wear full winter uniform, which is as follows;
Year 6 and their siblings need to arrive at 8am promptly on Monday 15th for their photographs. These children will need to go to their classroom to drop their bags off first. Year 5 and their siblings will start at 8.30am and they will need to go to the classroom first after the bell has rung.
As Year 6, Year 2 and Year 1 have PE on a Monday, please can they bring their PE kit in a bag to change into after they have their photograph taken.
Please ensure that any Year 5 and 6 children who have siblings, have their siblings with them at 8am to ensure they have their group photo and to avoid any disruptions to lesson times for the older children.
Jeans for Genes Day 2025

We are grateful for the support Foxes FC give our PTA – including their popular stall at the Summer Fair each year. They are passionate about getting kids off screens and into sport, and are now launching some brilliant new activities in the area:

This week we were fortunate enough to catch up with Broomfield’s Eco Club. They spent their first session sharing their goals for the new year ahead. Their ambition, enthusiasm and passion to improve our planet is remarkable. While there were a variety of goals, the main focuses were to recycle more, plant more trees and walk to school wherever possible! They have asked if all the children in Broomfield can try to walk to school, or park further from school and walk, one day next week to play a small part in their big plans! Let your teacher know if you do for a house point/ lollipop point!
On Thursday, Year 4 spent an exciting day at Wimbledon Watersports. The children learnt how to sail and took to the water with lots of laughter and enthusiasm, and they were soon flying across the waves! Then there was time for kayaking, followed by Canadian style canoes. Everyone had a lot of fun – and some of the children even chose to jump in at the end!
Last Friday evening, Alana B. and Melody M. (Year 5) celebrated the end of their first softball season at Richmond Cricket Club.
The girls played in the softball league, which is open to U9–U11 players. Although most of their squad were in Year 4 (U9 level), they were entered as an U10 team and often played against older, more experienced U11 opponents. This made the season a real challenge, but also a fantastic learning experience — and their team rose to it brilliantly. The end-of-season celebration was a lovely evening that made the girls feel really special and proud of everything they achieved.
For any girls or boys interested in cricket at Richmond Cricket Club, you can find more information on their website: (https://www.richmondcricketclub.com/)
Kindergarten began the term by exploring ink portraits inspired by geometric shapes. They examined different visual elements while developing their ink painting skills, resulting in expressive artworks.
Eco Club returned to Broomfield on Monday and even welcomed a few new pupils to the committee. For our first session we had a little introduction to the club and talked about what we have done to help the environment such as bringing a reusable water bottle to school or planting flowers for the bees – no matter how small or how big, it all makes a difference. We also set about making eco club board games.
