Broomfield is celebrating the children’s success at the ISI Art Nationals last week.
The Year 6 class were thrilled to receive second place in this national competition for their colourful cupcake trinket boxes crafted in clay. The intricate detail the children have created, using a multiplicity of techniques; moulding, shaping, cutting and pressing, as well as painting the individual elements so carefully. The result is an eclectic selection of cupcakes reflecting the children’s culinary and artistic preferences.
Year 1 were also very happy as their fabulous fishy collage was highly commended by the judges. The bright undersea world was built up using the individual artworks which the children crafted during our wonderful Art workshop.
It’s lovely to see Broomfield’s artistic endeavours recognised on the national stage.
