Headteacher’s Welcome

It is a pleasure to welcome you to our Broomfield House School website and through these pages to show you what our school has to offer. At Broomfield we are academically ambitious for your children and tailor our teaching to the needs of every child through highly differentiated lessons and our unique Individual Learning Enhancement programme.  We aim to unlock children’s potential, foster their independence and encourage them to love learning, to develop their own ideas and confidently articulate their own opinions. We run a wide curriculum and a broad range of extra-curricular activities with a view to helping our children find the things that will give them joy forever.

Happy children learn most effectively and we believe that Broomfield’s homely atmosphere creates just the right environment for them to achieve their best. Our pastoral care and happiness programmes provide many opportunities for us to check on how our children feel and to constantly review how best to support them.

Broomfield is a family school in every sense. We have many pupils whose parents, and even grandparents, attended Broomfield themselves. However, we also pride ourselves on being a friendly and inclusive academic family which welcomes pupils and their parents from all over the world, and maintains close and long-lasting relationships with many of them when they move on to other countries and schools.

I am proud of Broomfield and all we achieve. I hope you enjoy exploring our website, but to really experience the special qualities of our school please join us for one of our regular parent tours. The children are our best ambassadors so come and see them at work and play. I trust you will find a kind, purposeful and imaginative school where children and staff work in harmony to foster confidence and excellence in everything we do.

Excellent in all areas: ISI Inspection Report

We are delighted to share the findings of the recent ISI Inspection which rated Broomfield excellent across all areas, both in the academic and other achievements of the pupils and in their personal development.

Here is the link to the report itself so you can read the inspectors’ wonderfully positive comments for yourself.
