Children across the year groups have been helping Broomfield bloom even as the weather gets more chilly. Pre-Kindergarten have planted sweetly scented herbs which they will investigate in their topic exploring the 5 senses. The class will need to learn patience as they have also put bulbs in pots and will have to wait for the Spring to see these flourish. Kindergarten have also been brightening up their outside classroom with some lovely autumnal colours. They will need to keep up with the watering to help the plants grow lush and strong.
We are hoping that our resident squirrels will leave our garden beds in peace, but there are already signs that the local wildlife are burying conkers for their winter stores!
