For families requiring child care outside normal school hours we offer wraparound care and activities for children between 8am and 8.30am each morning and between 3.30pm and 5.30pm Monday to Thursday. Our own staff are the main carers in the before and after-school care sessions. A variety of after-school clubs are also offered as part of our extra-curricular opportunities.
In after-school care, children follow a mixture of quiet activities including, crafts, drawing, games, jigsaws, painting and reading. The older children may begin their homework. We also make sure the children do some physical exercise using the playground as much as possible, weather permitting, and the school gymnasium if necessary.
We offer parents several options for care; a single session until 4.30pm or a double session until 5.30pm. Children can also take another extra-curricular activity or club until 4.30pm/5pm and then do the second after-school care session until 5.30pm. We aim to be as flexible as possible while caring for the children.
