Broomfield House School Forest School — Learning Through Adventure

At Broomfield House School, the natural world is an extension of our classroom. Forest School nurtures confidence, resilience, and a deep love of the outdoors.

In our carefully guided sessions, children are encouraged to:

  • Learn woodland skills such as shelter-building, chopping wood and safe fire craft
  • Create with natural materials through imaginative, child-led play
  • Observe wildlife and develop environmental awareness
  • Build teamwork, independence, and problem-solving skills

Every session is thoughtfully planned by our qualified Forest School leader, ensuring children learn safely while embracing the joy of nature. From muddy adventures to quiet moments of reflection beneath the trees, Forest School offers experiences that stay with children long after they leave the woods.
