Inspection

Broomfield House School is proud to announce an exceptional outcome from the Independent Schools Inspectorate (ISI) following their visit in December 2025. The School has been awarded a Significant Strength in the Quality of Education the highest possible recognition by the ISI and a rare accolade reserved only for a few distinctive schools demonstrating the strongest practice nationwide.

‘Pupils throughout the school achieve at high levels in relation to expectations for their ages and make particularly rapid progress from their starting points in literacy and numeracy. This is a significant strength of the school.

This recognition reflects the outstanding academic standards, exceptional teaching, and the remarkable breadth and impact of our curriculum. It also celebrates the warmth, care and purposeful energy that define life at Broomfield, a genuine home‑from‑home where children flourish academically, socially and emotionally.

Building on a Strong Foundation

While this latest inspection stands on its own as an exceptional outcome, it also confirms the enduring strengths that have been recognised over time at Broomfield. Previous ISI findings praised pupils’ courtesy, kindness and consideration for others, the warm, inclusive ethos of our community, and pupils’ confidence, articulacy and high achievement.

What distinguishes the 2025 report is the clarity with which it captures both our current impact and our direction of travel: a school that is continually improving and innovating — strengthening teaching practice, broadening opportunities and deepening pastoral care so that every child is seen, known and inspired to do their best. A school that is going from strength to strength.
