There was something truly powerful about the collective energy when all Dukes Education settings came together for a day of professional development at Wembley Stadium on Monday. The unique grandeur of Wembley—the UK’s largest stadium with iconic spaces like the Bobby Moore Room and Atrium—created the perfect backdrop for collaboration. Attendees moved between breakout areas inspired by the stadium’s corporate suites and Education & Learning Zone, enjoying its inspiring atmosphere.

It was a valuable opportunity to learn from one another, celebrate achievements across the group, and reinforce that our combined efforts amplify impact far beyond what any single part can achieve. We are excited to explore further opportunities for collaboration and to make the most of the fantastic Dukes Plus offerings—university application support, day camps, and summer schools—designed to enrich family experiences.

A highlight of the day was learning more about The Dukes Foundation, the group’s charitable arm committed to supporting transformative causes nationally and internationally. The Foundation has launched an ambitious campaign to become the largest provider of transformational bursaries in the UK, widening access to excellent education for young people from low‑income backgrounds.

In a wonderful gesture of philanthropy, every attendee at Monday’s conference received a £5 token to donate to one of four selected charitable causes. This simple yet powerful act brought individual values into action, demonstrating how small contributions combine for collective good—a core principle behind the Foundation’s model of grant‑making and civic engagement.

In summary, the professional development day at Wembley wasn’t just an event—it was a celebration of a shared mission: to support an extraordinary life for every member of our community. From the buzz in that magnificent venue to the generosity of charitable giving, the day reinforced our unity and ignited fresh ideas for growth, learning, and impact. We look forward to harnessing this energy, deepening partnerships across settings, and expanding our Dukes Plus and Foundation work together to benefit families and future generations.
