Broomfield Lecture Series: Ms L Nicholas

Posted: 11th December 2020

Ms Libby Nicholas, MD Dukes Education, was in school yesterday as part of our Broomfield Lecture Series.  She addressed the children in Years 5 and 6 about the 4 ‘C’s: Courage, Confidence, Commitment and Composure to motivate them into considering the kind of legacy they would want for when they leave Broomfield and move on to pastures new.  She looked at the etymology of these words and others.  Ms Nicholas has wide experience in the delivery of strategic organisational change, curriculum development and pedagogy.  She has written on Leadership and Education and was brilliant in inspiring the children to try their hardest and achieve their best.

This is the second address in our new programme of lectures, last month Luke Tyburski wowed both Year 6 children and staff with stories of his adventures and extraordinary perseverance.
