Mr Kennedy launched a times tables challenge over half term and today the winners were announced. Our congratulations go to Alex in Year 3, Tara in Year 4, Elias in Year 5 and Lachlan in Year 6, who each received a trophy to mark their success.
The competition resulted in a record number of personal best times which showed the effort the children had put into improving their times tables abilities. Twenty other children were also commended receiving a gold lapel badge to reward their efforts. Just 5 minutes a day on the TT Rockstars can make a massive difference to children’s speed and accuracy and helps to build confidence, which is so important in developing tomorrow’s mathematicians.
