We love to read

Posted: 11th March 2021

Broomfield celebrated World Book Day this week, delaying the event so we could dress up and have fun together in school.  An array of oompa loompas could be seen, along with elves, princesses, dinosaurs, a multitude of animals and insects, even the Gruffalo made an appearance!  Cruella de Vil, in the school office was attended by a wolf instead of 101 dalmations, eccentric Divination teacher Sybill Trelawney was seen reading tea leaves, Wally was lost in the playground and Tigger played with Winnie the Pooh!  The joy of reading and sharing stories was the theme of the day and what a lovely way to revel in the end of remote learning.
