The grand old staple of the afternoon tea table took pride of place in the Broomfield kitchen on Friday, as the Bake Off chefs tackled the English classic: the Victoria sponge. An avid Bake Off fan followed the recipe and came up with her own impressive looking contribution. Now there was a happy family set for a treat over the weekend.
