Broomfield has opened its doors for the Spring term. Most children are back learning remotely but we have welcomed Pre-Kindergarten and the children of Critical (Key) Workers into school. We are glad to have some children in school as their laughter and excitement is what gives us joy. Our grateful thanks go to the Critical Workers who are keeping us all as safe and well as possible at this challenging time. The children who are learning at home are enjoying a great service from our team of dedicated teachers and teaching assistants. Their online lessons are upping the fun quotient to really keep the children engaged. The quality of provision during the previous online learning period was outstanding, as demonstrated in the assessment data we captured during the Autumn term, which highlighted excellent progress across all year groups. Our online provision includes pastoral care, which is especially important in times when pupils are separated from their school life.
